Reflective Resilience

This piece reimagines a traditional Everlast speed bag by upholstering it entirely with hand-laid mirror tiles. The transformation turns an object of sport and endurance into a reflective sculpture that merges strength with spectacle. The mirrored surface catches and scatters light, inviting the viewer to see both themselves and the surrounding space within the work. By elevating an everyday boxing element into an art piece, the project challenges perceptions of function, material, and cultural symbolism; turning resilience into a form of luminous design.
