Tectonic Models

This tectonic model explores the relationship between form, structure, and spatial flow through a series of repetitive linear wooden elements. By layering and rotating these elements along a controlled path, the design creates a fluid, wave-like geometry that mimics natural topographies and tectonic shifts. The base grid, combined with string and point-mapping, serves as a parametric framework guiding the transformation of space from flat surface to three-dimensional form. The project emphasizes the interplay between order and movement, demonstrating how systematic rules can generate organic, dynamic structures. It represents an early-stage conceptual investigation into tectonics, materiality, and architectural morphology.
